Glen Alan Eads, 76, of Gloucester, Va., passed away at his Woods Cross Road home on September 22, 2026. He was born on December 7, 1949 in Boomer, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Eads; mother, Lucile Creech; stepfather, Gale Gilbert; his beloved wife of 52 years, Argatha Frances Eads; daughter, Mary Booth, and grandson, Marvin Booth III.

Glen joined the Air Force at 18, a proud Vietnam veteran, and was honorable discharged in 1977. He retired from Naval Weapons Station Yorktown after 40 years. A longtime deacon, he would share his love of God, family and country, often in jokes, stories or scripture. He was the glue and light that held his family together and would help anyone who asked.

He is survived by daughter, Ruth Thomas (Glenn); his grandchildren, Kacy Skidmore (Makenna), Victoria Miller (Jason), Melissa Davis, Vanissa Andres (Dan), Thomas Booth (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Jase Skidmore, James Bates and Luca Miller, Trinity and Darrell Davis, Theda and Thomas Booth Jr., Gabriel and Ronan Burr, and another precious girl on the way. He also has two ‘sons,’ Bradley Dial (Jody) and William Dial (Jessica) and their children Jeremy and Calvin Dial and Lilliana Sawyer; his brother, Thomas Helton (Sue); nephew, Brandon Eads, and cousin, Beverley Hasenbaly. Glen wanted to acknowledge his longtime family friend, Patty Dial.

A celebration of Glen’s life will be held on October 3, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church in Ware Neck, Va.
