Open house Saturday at Edge Hill House

Following substantial renovations, the Gloucester Woman’s Club will celebrate the reopening of its headquarters historic Edge Hill House at 6805 Main Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The historically correct 1750s former store now conforms to comfort and safety standards of 2019, a Gloucester Woman’s Club release stated.  The public is invited to join club members in touring the Virginia and National Historic Landmark.

Two months of renovation, supported by the generosity of the Edge Hill House Foundation and a grant from Main Street Association, provided the three-story house with an updated kitchen and a long-desired ground-level bathroom.
