Online ticket sales end Saturday for Gloucester Wine Festival

The Gloucester Wine Festival is fast approaching, with online sale of tickets ending at 4:30 p.m. this Saturday.

This year, the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce’s premier annual event has been expanded to two days—Saturday, Sept. 23 (from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday, Sept. 24 (from noon to 5 p.m.).

Single-day tickets are $50, with two-day tickets available for $90. After Saturday’s online ticket sale cutoff, all other tickets must be purchased at the ticket tent at Ware Academy, where attendees will park before they take a shuttle bus to the event at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs.

Those purchasing tickets online are automatically entered into a sweepstakes. Two lucky people will win the prize, which includes a Friday and Saturday night stay at the Historic Inn at Warner Hall (breakfast included), gift baskets from Zoll Vineyard, Whitley’s Peanuts and Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, a $75 dinner gift certificate to Bangkok Noi Asian Bistro, “Virginia is for Lovers” apparel and VIP passes for both days of the wine festival.

More information about the festival, and a link to purchasing tickets online, can be found at https://gloucestervawinefestival.com.
Be sure to pick up next week’s Gazette-Journal, which will include a special section devoted to the Gloucester Wine Festival.
