All courts, county offices and DMV customer service centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed next Thursday and Friday, July 4 and 5, in observance of Independence Day.

Post offices, waste facilities, and school board offices in both counties will be closed Thursday only for the holiday. School board offices in both counties are also closed every Friday over the summer.

Gloucester County libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday, observing regular hours on Saturday and Sunday. Mathews Memorial Library will be closed Thursday through Sunday.
