Oct. 5 groundbreaking for new American Legion post home

The American Legion Post 75 of Gloucester Inc., in partnership with Zandler Development Company, LLC, has announced a groundbreaking ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at 6139 George Washington Memorial Highway in Gloucester to celebrate the start of the new American Legion Post 75 home.

The event will include a color guard provided by the Gloucester High School NJROTC along with speakers from the American Legion and the developer. Refreshments will follow the ceremony. 

Post 75 was chartered in June 1944 and has continuously served Gloucester veterans and their families for 74 years. The new expanded post home will include a large outdoor pavilion, providing flexibility for events and programs. ...
