NARFE chapter to meet Tuesday

Chapter 1757 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Olivia’s in the Village, Gloucester.

Donna Forbes, volunteer at the Gloucester Visitor Center, will present this month’s program for this month’s meeting, addressing the programs and opportunities offered by the center, which is located in the court circle.

Forbes grew up in Orlando, Florida, came to Virginia for college and never left. She and her husband, David, bought their Gloucester home in 1978 when working on the Peninsula, and moved to the county full-time in 2017. She has been working with the Gloucester Visitor Center since 2019.

All active and retired federal employees are encouraged to attend; visitors are always welcome, a release stated.
