Family support meetings for family members and caretakers of those with mental illness are set throughout the area this month. They are sponsored by the Mid-Tidewater Affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Meetings are set as follows:

Saturday, Sept. 8, 10:30 a.m. at the Lancaster Community Library, Kilmarnock;

Wednesday, Sept. 12, 6 p.m., Study Room 2 of the Gloucester Library, Main Street Center; 

Monday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m. at Urbanna Baptist Church;

Wednesday, Sept. 26, 6:30 p.m., 84 Main Resource Center, Warsaw.
