NAACP art contest entries to be accepted next week

Submissions for the Gloucester Branch of the NAACP’s community art contest, “Connecting as a Community through Art: Interpretations of Kindness,” will be accepted at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester, Main Street Center, Monday through Friday from noon until 5 p.m. each day.

Submissions must be accompanied by a completed entry form. All participants will be recognized with the top three winners earning prize money; $200 for first place, $100 for second place; and $50 for third place. Recognition will take place at the Gloucester Daffodil Festival on April 6.

Winners will be determined by the number of votes their submission receives. Stop by the Fine Arts Museum March 11-22 to view the exhibit and vote for your favorite submission.
