Friends of Machicomoco State Park, in partnership with Virginia State Parks, will host a free Music in the Park event from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the park in Hayes. This fall’s Music in the Park event features The Tom Euler Trio, one of Virginia’s leading Blues/rock musical groups. The group performed at the first ever Music in the Park event held in 2024 and again last year. They are returning due to popular demand. Music in the Park provides an opportunity for the surrounding communities to experience music while enjoying views of the sunset, a release stated. Those attending are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and lawn chairs at the park’s Interpretive Area. While the performance is free to park visitors, a $5/vehicle park entrance fee applies and alcohol beverages are prohibited.
