Mildred Beth Liverman Wood (Mikki), age 73, of Hayes, passed away at her home on Monday, May 2, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 15, 1948 in Halifax County, N.C., to the late Lewis Sr. and Effie Aycock Liverman.

We will think of her any time we see Elvis, the Dallas Cowboys, or a Lemon Pound Cake. She taught us to cherish the time we have with each other and she showed us how to love one another unconditionally. She will be missed, but she will live on in all of our memories. Survived by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Douglas Wood; son, Wayne and wife Dana; daughter, Tammy; son, Danny; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Redford, and brother, Tiny Liverman. The family received friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, followed by a 2 p.m. graveside service in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery conducted by Devon Killian-Blair.
