Michael Ray Whiting Sr., 61, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2021.

He was a native of Gloucester County and a member of Morning Glory Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Michael Whiting Jr.; brothers, Ernest Whiting Jr., Donald Whiting, Wayne Whiting, Daryl Whiting and Elton Whiting; sisters, Gloria Berkley, Joyce Wilson, Jean Randall and Janice Whiting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ada Jackson Whiting Sr.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, in Morning Glory Baptist Church, Gloucester. Mr. Whiting may be viewed from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
