McKennah Evelyn Moore, 20, of Mathews, formerly of Midlothian, passed on July 22, 2013.

She is survived by her parents, Pieter and Krishna Moore; her brother, Brent Moore; her sister, Madyson Moore; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Solomon, and many loving family and friends.

She was a 2011 graduate of James River High School, where she served as the baseball team manager and studied for one year at B.Y.U.-Idaho. Her aspiration was to become a special education teacher, specializing in autism. Her friends and family would refer to her often as a beacon of light in their lives.

The family will receive friends and visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Midlothian Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 10660 Duryea Dr., Richmond.
