Mathews County Public Schools will provide breakfast and lunch meals to all children (ages 18 and younger) during the school closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to superintendent Nancy Welch.

Breakfast and lunch meals will be available for pick up beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17 at Mathews High School. The meals will be "grab and go" and available by drive thru service on the bus loop between the hours of 10:30 a.m.  and 12:30 p.m. , she said.

This service is available to all children regardless of where they receive their education, this includes students who receive home instruction or attend private school settings.
