Elton M. Hudgins Jr., a Mathews native who now lives in San Antonio, Texas, has written his first science fiction novel, “Ultra Top Secret//SCI: Operation Foretold.”
The book tells a story of military pilots and aviators who travel through time and encounter historical figures and circumstances that shape the course of human history. All but one eventually return to the present time, but not without a great deal of trial and tribulation.
Hudgins spent seven years in uniform in the U.S. Air Force, followed by 41 years as a federal employee. During his career, he worked in over 20 different states and 11 foreign countries. His work ranged from investigating prisoner of war and missing in action cases to serving as the chief of training and executive development for 85,000 Air Force federal employees.
