The Mathews General District Court office in Liberty Square will soon be open every Thursday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. beginning June 6. The court’s main office, located inside the Middlesex Courthouse will continue to serve both Mathews and Middlesex counties 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

“We hope these new hours and location will better serve the citizens of Mathews County,” said Angela Shoe, clerk of the Mathews/Middlesex General District Court. ...
