Mary Frances Haywood, 93, entered eternal rest at Riverside Convalescent Center-Mathews on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020. Mrs. Haywood was a lifelong member of Providence Baptist Church. We were all touched by her joy and enthusiasm for family, friends, and fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colie M. Haywood Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Maginnis (Hugh), Linda Ray (Ronnie); son, James Haywood (Jane); siblings, Calvin Hogge, Lynwood Hogge, Buddy Lee Hogge, Ellis Ray Hogge, Thelma Hall, and India Hall; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family received friends on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, from 6-7 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, masks were required for entry, and social distancing was mandatory. A graveside service, conducted by the Rev. Chris McMillan, was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home, Hayes.
