Markets on Main, a partner event to the Mathews Farmers’ Market, will be held the third Saturday of each month from April 17 through Aug. 21 on Main Street in Mathews.

The Mathews Main Street Committee made the announcement on Tuesday, saying that the event will feature shops and vendors along Main Street, as well as the Artisan Market at the Bay School Community Arts Center. An added feature will be live music at the Farmers’ Market on the court green and on the porch at Sibley’s General Store/Mathews Visitor Center.

“More than spring is set to liven up Mathews Main Street this season,” said Main Street Committee chair Bette Dillehay. “Mathews Main Street invites residents and visitors to enjoy the best of downtown, with added fun during the coming months.”
