Main Street business meeting Tuesday

Gloucester County is hosting a meeting for Main Street business owners and their representatives from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gloucester Fine Arts Museum. “This is a business-focused meeting,” said County Administrator Carol Steele. The county will be sharing important information about upcoming projects and happenings and will also be soliciting feedback from business owners and representatives. According to Steele, this will be “an opportunity for them to meet and talk with the staff.” Two members of the Board of Supervisors will also be present to help answer questions. Items on the agenda include: —250th celebration and Gloucester’s 375th anniversary; —Economic Development (including Restaurant Week, which is planned for March 6-15); —Comprehensive Plan overview; —Gloucester Main Street Association news and updates; —Feedback on increasing foot traffic, streetscapes and vehicular traffic; and —Partnering opportunities. “This is a way to go to them,” said Steele about this meetin...
