Library book sale this weekend

Gloucester County Friends of the Library will hold a Spring Book Sale Friday through Sunday in the Community Room of the Gloucester Library, Main Street Center. Hours for the public will be 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The sale will be open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday only to members of the Friends of the Library.

In addition to works of fiction by leading authors, there are large numbers of nonfiction books that include history, cooking, politics, religion, gardening, animals, sports, poetry, biography and travel, according to a release. There will be large-print books on a variety of subjects and many children’s books. 

Hardback books are $1; paperbacks are 50 cents and pocket paperbacks are 25 cents or five for $1. Children’s books are 10 cents. 

Also, anyone interested in becoming a member of the Friends of the Library can sign up during the book sale. Annual dues are $5 per family. ...
