Legion officers

For the first time since it was established in 1942, American Legion Post 75 of Gloucester has a woman as its commander. Suzanne Brosemer, standing at right, was sworn in June 11 along with the rest of her staff. Brosemer, a U.S. Air Force veteran, is also a member of Auxiliary Unit 75 and the Legion Riders 75. The new post officials will take office on July 1 and are, standing from left, sergeant-at-arms James Coates, chaplain Robert Berry, finance officer Paul Miller, installing officer and 3rd District vice commander Rick Ward, 2nd vice commander Frank Garvey, 1st vice commander Ralph Jordan and Brosemer.
