LARRY LEE BURTON

Larry Lee Burton was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to the late Lewis and Ivadeen Burton on May 18, 1940. He was a true West Virginia boy who loved sports and as a young man excelled at football. His charm and charisma led him in his early life to a successful career as a salesman. In his later years, he worked for the Civil Service. Surely a man of many talents, Larry could repair any vehicle, make a delicious meal, and find the bargains for everything we needed.

Larry was blessed with a large blended family, and he truly loved each one of them. In addition to his beloved wife Paula, Larry is survived by his children, Joseph Burton (Catherine), Janie Burton Lilly, Cathy Silfies (Marc), Robert Eanes (Michele), Jason Burton (Crystal), Jessica Burton; grandchildren Schuyler Burton (Courtney), Dylan Burton, Bethany Dillon (Jesse), Bobby Lilly, Corey Lilly, Christina Lilly, Hunter Silfies, Sawyer Silfies, Oliver Silfies, Ginger Silfies, Juniper Silfies, Jack Eanes, Joey Eanes, Cheyenne Emminizer (Micah), Baylee Hathaway, Noah Burton, Jeremiah Burton, Lincoln Burton, Jewels Forrest, Izik, Sadie, and his great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Weylyn, Séamus, and Penelope.

Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Yoho, and is survived by his brother, Gary Burton.

Larry went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2022 at his home in Gloucester, Virginia. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Newington Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Mike Gray.
