Kordelia’s Lemonade Stand will be setting up shop from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Scoot’s BBQ at Gloucester Point. Kordelia Coyne, 9, of Gloucester, above, has been holding lemonade stand fundraisers throughout the area as a tribute to law enforcement officers and other first responders. To date, she has raised nearly $1,000, which she uses to buy $10 gift cards that she hands out to local first responders to thank them for all they do for the community. Cups of lemonade are $1 each and include a small cookie, with all of the proceeds going to her efforts. She also has plans to set up her stand at M&M Building Supply in Mathews on Saturday, Oct. 10. More information can be found on her Facebook page, Kordelia’s Lemonade Stand.
