Knights support GMCC

Arlene Armentor, Executive Director of the Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic, at left, presented an informational briefing about the clinic to Knights of Columbus Council 9428 at the Church of St. Therese, Main Street, Gloucester, on Oct. 6. At the end of the presentation, Eric Scott, Grand Knight of the Council, right, presented Armentor a donation of $250 for the clinic. The clinic provides free medical care to residents of Gloucester, Mathews, and zip codes 23156, 23110 and 23149 who are uninsured or have Medicaid, are 18-64 years old, and are within certain household income limits. Along with the Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic, the International Knights of Columbus partners with national charities such as Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics and The American Wheelchair Mission.
