KENNETH NEIL HOUGH

Kenneth Neil Hough, 66, of Old Town, Florida, passed away Sept. 23, 2017 in North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida.

Neil was born in Dickson County, Tennessee, to Charlie F. and Betty Keele Hough. He was lead Maintenance Mechanical Technician for Suwannee American Cement Company in Branford, Florida.

Neil was a “Mister Fix It,” as he could fix anything. He enjoyed dancing, collecting and was an animal lover. Neil was a hardworking, loyal, loving father, grandfather, brother, nephew and friend to all who knew him. He never met a stranger and had such a respect and love for life. He laughed about everything and always knew the right things to say to make a bad situation good. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Lovern Hough; parents, Charlie and Betty Hough, and sisters, Cathy Boone and Vicky Shelton. 

He is survived by his wife, Fay Hough; daughter, Catina Clevinger (Skip); son, Neil Hough (Donna); sister, Carolyn Peacher (Bart); brother, Charlie Hough (Laura); nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Tommy Lovern will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at the funeral home.
