Karen O’Connor Hendrix, 73, of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bethesda, Maryland, and was the daughter of the late John and Beryl O’Connor. She was a library tech with Gloucester County Library and a member of the Gloucester Ruritan Club.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Dwain Hendrix; daughters, Jennifer Hendrix Doss and her husband Timothy Paul Doss, and Heather Hendrix Densmore and her husband Brad Densmore; four grandchildren, Brittany Doss Graham, Taylor Andrew Walden, Olivia Grace Densmore and Ian Connor Warren Densmore; two great-grandchildren, Lillian Lee Graham and Edward William Graham.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, from 6:30-8 p.m. Due to COVID requirements, masks were required for entrance to funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bread for Life Food Pantry of Gloucester or to Friends of the Library. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, Va., was in charge of arrangements.
