Johnny Travis Horsley, age 34, of Hayes, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, 2022. Johnny enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Johnny was free-spirited with a heart of gold and enjoyed doing anything outdoors. Johnny enjoyed the beach, fishing, corn hole, and a few twisted teas along the way. During Johnny’s teenage years he worked on the water and later took interest in construction and was known as “Mr. Fix-it,” no task he couldn’t handle. Johnny was employed with Horsley Home Improvement & Repair. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Landon Charles Horsley; parents, Kenneth and Betty Green Horsley; special niece Casey; siblings, Mikie Horsley, Dustin Horsley, Brittney Horsley, Jennifer Hall (James), and Billy Bohannon. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, as well as many special friends to cherish his memory. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 6-7:30 p.m. A funeral service, conducted by Pastor Kevin Bartley, will be held in the Chapel of Hogg Funeral Home on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
