Jane Reno of Hayes, passed peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, surrounded by family at the age of 79. She was known for her love of reading, seeking adventure through travel, and being a trusted confidant for those lucky enough to know her. She retired from a long career in real estate, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Jane was preceded in death by the love of her life, Rodney Reno. She is survived by her son, Shaun Reno (Kim); grandchildren, Cory Reno and Hunter LeClair (Jameson); sister, Barbara Hoverman (Gary); brothers, Fred Turner (Julie) and Ricky Turner (Lynn); nieces, Haley Turner, Korey Madia, Melissa Via, and Teresa Phillips (Roan); nephew, Jason Hoverman (Lisa); great-nieces and nephews, Austyn Casper, Bryce Casper, Cody Phillips, Dillan Phillips, Kylee Casper, Logan Hoverman, and Taylor Madia, and many other beloved friends and family. In Jane’s memory, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105, where she made regular contributions. The family held an intimate gathering and intends to honor Jane’s last request by holding a formal celebration of her life in the Gulf of Mexico in the coming year.
