JAMES THOMAS COOK SR.

A funeral for James Thomas Cook Sr., aka Tom, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 in Zion Hill Baptist Church, Gloucester. He died Oct. 12, 2020.

He was a native of Gloucester, member of Zion Hill Baptist, and known by many as “The Radiator Man” because of the many years he worked at Bowden’s Radiator Repair.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Marie Cook; sons, Randy Cook, Bobby Cook, Tony Cook and Lawrence Smith; daughters, Karen Harris, Debbie Brown and Christie Matthews; sisters, Rosetta Randall and Dorothy Wallace; 25 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Howard Funeral Home, Ark. Burial will be in the church cemetery on Saturday.
