A funeral service with military honors was held for James K. Conway Sr. of Gloucester, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, in Bethel Baptist Church, Gloucester. He died Jan. 26, 2016.

He was a native of Baltimore, Md., and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Conway Boatbuilding Services.

Survivors include his wife Cassandra; sons, James Jr. and Julius, and stepson, Lamont Bomar.
