A big flounder caught by Gerald Hudgins of Gloucester, on Aug. 29 earned a citation in the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament. The fish weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces, which he caught in Chesapeake Bay waters.Also, Michael C. Hurst of Gloucester, won a citation for a 26-inch speckled trout caught and released Sept. 8 in Mobjack Bay.
