Howard James Hudgins, 65, of Mathews passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013.

He was the son of the late Elmer H. and Charlotte A. Hudgins.

He is survived by a son, Jerry Hudgins and his wife Noel; a daughter, Shannon Jenkins, her husband Jeff and daughter, Diane Lee; seven granddaughters, and one grandson.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the West Mathews Civic Center, Bohannon.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the wonderful staff at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.
