Helen Elizabeth Taylor, 91, of Gloucester, died on April 19, 2022. She was a native of Gloucester and a member of Smithfield Baptist Church where she served as a Senior Usher and member of the Willing Workers Ministry.

Survivors include children, Larry Taylor, Walter Taylor, Sandra Clayborne, Earnie Taylor, Donnell Taylor, Diane Bills, Melvina Taylor and Angelina Miniger; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Betty Webb Smith Sr.; siblings, Frances Berry, Celestine Darden and Stanley Smith Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, in the Church of Abraham, formerly Smithfield Baptist Church, with viewing from 1 p.m. until service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
