Heartfeld Community to hold Compassionate Touch workshop April 2

Heartfelt Community will hold a Compassionate Touch workshop for family and professional caregivers, those who would like to volunteer, as well as those who already volunteer in the community’s nursing and retirement homes. The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, at Gloucester Library, Main Street Center. Those planning to attend are asked to register by call or text to Heartfelt Community founder Ginger Spencer at 804-832-8859 or email Connect@heartfeltcommunity.org. This class is free; however, donations will be accepted on the day of the class. All donations will benefit Heartfelt Community, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit enhancing the lives of elders by providing Compassionate Touch through licensed massage therapists and volunteers, techniques that promote well-being and stress reduction.
