Hayes property to be developed into Starbucks

Property adjacent to the Hayes branch of Chesapeake Bank has been sold for the development of a freestanding Starbucks, according to a release from real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer.

InSite Real Estate Investment Properties, LLC purchased the 4.37-acre parcel on Route 17 from Chesapeake Bank for $525,000, the release stated. David Machupa and Ed Kimple of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the purchaser.
