Harold “Sputnik” Scott of Mathews, formerly of Gloucester, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mrs. Mary Howard of Gloucester; brothers, Wayne Scott (Catherine) of Gloucester, Lawrence Scott of Williamsburg, Harold Willis, Anthony Willis, Freddie Willis and Rodney Willis; sisters, Joyce Sidney (Rodney) and Joanne Willis; four aunts; five uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and devoted friend and daughter, Sharon White, and Wilneshia.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, in Forrest Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 7437 Buckley Hall Road, Hudgins, Va. 23076. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. until service time.
