Gordon Page Riley, 89, of North, Va., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. He was a member of Grace-Providence Church, the American Legion, and the West Mathews Community League.
He was predeceased by his parents, Wilbur and Margaret Riley, and his son, Charles E. Riley.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ginger Riley; two daughters, Annie Riley of North, and Teresa Peebles of Hampton, Va.; three sons, Eric Riley of Suffolk, Va., Bill Riley of Gwynn, Va., and Mark Riley of Hopewell, Va.; four grandsons; two great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Brenda Riley of Hayes, Va.; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Hall of Frederick, Maryland; special friends, Kenneth Akes of Gloucester, Va., Lonnie Wilson III of Danville, Va., Bryan Catberro of North, and his much loved canine companions, “Cubby” and “Colby.”
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Grace-Providence United Methodist Church, Mobjack, Va. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace-Providence United Methodist Church, 84 Grace Street, Mobjack, Va. 23056. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Va., is assisting the family.
