GMHS to host Family Fun Day Saturday

The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society will host Family Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, a day filled with fun and games, food and celebrating the work of the shelter in transforming the lives of the area’s homeless pets.

The public is invited to visit the shelter to learn more about the organization through guided tours, as well as take part in the games, food and fun.

 “Family Fun Day is a wonderful celebration of the partnerships we share with individuals and businesses who make our work possible,” GMHS Interim Executive Director April Martinez said. “The day also offers the opportunity for the community to learn more about our operations and life-saving mission. The event is a great chance to connect with current friends of GMHS and make new ones.”
