Gloucester to resume in-person meetings in July

Gloucester supervisors, the county’s planning commission and other boards and commissions will return to in-person meetings in July.

Although residents are invited and encouraged to attend meetings, a release said, for those in at-risk categories or who may feel uncomfortable attending in-person meetings, comments may be submitted through alternate means.

In-person meetings of both the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors and the Gloucester Planning Commission will be held at the T.C. Walker Education Center to provide more space for social distancing. Locations for other boards and commissions will be announced on the county’s calendar.

Where noted, meetings will be broadcast live on Cox Channel 48 and on the county’s meeting portal at www.gloucesterva.info/640/Meeting-Portal.

Comments submitted through these alternate means must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the day prior to a meeting or public hearing.
