‘Gloucester Rocks’ founder hops around in bunny costume to spread Easter joy

During these uncertain and unusual times of self-isolation and social distancing, people are still finding ways to celebrate, create and share special moments with one another. Tracy Sweat of Gloucester decided to share the joy of Easter with others in a very special way.

Last year, Sweat, the founder of the Gloucester Rocks Facebook page, purchased an Easter bunny costume with the intention of making annual appearances to nursing homes in her costume. With social distancing guidelines in effect for this very unusual Easter, these visits became impossible.

While scrolling through Facebook, one of Sweat’s friends posted about a local drive-thru birthday party which inspired Sweat to re-purpose her costume. Using the Gloucester Rocks Facebook page, Sweat asked her members to share locations around Gloucester that she could travel to while wearing her bunny costume.
