Gloucester County gained 11 housing units during September, planning director Anne Ducey-Ortiz said.
In a report prepared for the Gloucester County Planning Commission meeting Nov. 4, Ducey-Ortiz said that the total housing unit gain in September included 11 single-family units and one manufactured home (which was a replacement).
Single-family housing values totaled $1,762,500 in September, with median value of $173,000. Meanwhile, the report showed the value of the manufactured home at $65,000.
The biggest total housing unit gain during the 12-month period from October 2009-September 2010 was recorded this July (18), followed by 11-unit gain in the months of last October and this January, May and September.
According to the report, the most manufactured housing units during the 12-month period were added last October (five), with four units in April and August, and three each this February and July. The most manufactured housing unit replacements were recorded last October (five), with four each this April and August.
Also, the report indicated 58 percent of manufactured homes during the period October 2009-September 2010 were singlewide replacements, with 38 percent of the manufactured housing units being replaced or relocated doublewide manufactured homes and 4 percent being new doublewide manufactured homes located outside a manufactured home park.
