Gloucester County government began its next phase of reopening to the public on Monday, carrying out the phase in alignment with Gov. Ralph Northam’s guidance on Phase Three re-openings across Virginia.
County employees stationed in a temporary facility located behind County Office Building #2 (6489 Main Street) will continue to greet customers who wish to transact business with the county departments inside that building.
In an effort to comply with ongoing social distancing protocols, only one customer per department will be permitted inside Building #2 and Treasurer’s Office cashiering stations will continue to serve the public outside, at windows located on the back side of the temporary office facility, a release said.
