Gloucester board meets Tuesday

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold two public hearings when it meets Tuesday. The meeting will be held at the T.C. Walker Education Center, starting at 7 p.m.

The first hearing will be held to consider issuance of general obligation bonds not to exceed $5.9 million through the Virginia Public School Authority. County Administrator J. Brent Fedors and Chief Financial Officer Cheryl Spivey will present information at the start of this hearing.

The second public hearing will be to consider the annual update of Gloucester County code chapter six. Chapter six is the stormwater/watershed map of the county. This public hearing will be presented by the Environmental Programs Manager Kevin Landry.

The board will also review the application for tax exemption for T.C. Walker/Rosenwald School Foundation and their request for a public hearing.
