The Gloucester Genealogical Society of Virginia has announced the cancelation of its upcoming meeting, originally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 22.

“The decision was made in consideration of our membership and the health problems associated with the current widespread seasonal respiratory illnesses,” a release stated. Plans are being developed for the group’s March 25 meeting, which will be held at the Buck’s Store Museum in Bena.

The program topic will be announced later.
