Gateway improvements on Tuesday’s agenda

Proposed gateway improvements into Gloucester County are on the agenda again for the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse.

The matter will be discussed in conjunction with the Route 3/14 and Main Street intersection Smart Scale improvements.

Also, on Tuesday night’s agenda, supervisors will have an update on the community space project that will take place at the former Tucker Store location. Currently, the location is an empty lot adjacent to the court circle where the Fairfield Foundation has been conducting archaeological surveys.

The board will also receive a fourth-quarter financial report from Stephanie Tinsley, chief financial officer for the county. Tinsley is also expected to ask for several additional appropriations for the current fiscal year and the next fiscal year. ...
