Free medical clinic this weekend

Remote Area Medical will provide free dental, vision and medical care to underserved and uninsured persons on Saturday and Sunday in Gloucester.

The clinic will be held at Ware Academy, located at 7936  John Clayton Memorial Highway.

To meet demand, RAM will open the parking lot at midnight on Saturday and begin distributing tickets for care at 3 a.m., a release said.

Clinic doors will open at 6 a.m.

All RAM services are free with no identification required, the release said. 

 Bay Transit will provide free rides to any Gloucester County resident who wants to access the RAM Health Clinic on Nov. 3 and 4. In addition, Bay Transit will provide free shuttle services from Ware Academy’s parking area to the school from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.  Residents must call 804-693-6977 by Friday to schedule a ride.
