Free drive-thru testing Monday at GHS

The Three Rivers Health District is holding a drive-thru testing event to test for COVID-19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at Gloucester High School.

The testing is held in conjunction with Gloucester County government, Three Rivers Medical Reserve Corps, Community Emergency Response Team, Gloucester County Emergency Services, and the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office.

Testing is open to those over the age of two. You do not have to have any symptoms to be tested. Antibody testing is not included.

“It is very important to expand our testing efforts during our phased reopening,” Three Rivers Health District director Dr. Richard Williams said. “We need to monitor our communities closely to understand the prevalence of COVID 19 infection and transmission. Testing will be key to our containment efforts.”
