Former DEA head to speak Sunday in Mathews

Chuck Rosenberg, former acting head of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, will speak on “The Rule of Law: Balancing the Rights, Responsibilities and Accountability of All Citizens and Our Government” at Sunday’s meeting of CircleUp Middle Peninsula.

The meeting will be held from 3-5 p.m. at the Mathews Boys & Girls Club building, 498 Church Street.

Prior to running the DEA, Rosenberg served as chief of staff and senior counselor to former FBI Director Jim Comey. He was also counsel to former FBI Director Robert Mueller. Currently, Rosenberg is affiliated with MSNBC as a legal analyst and commentator, and is a senior counsel of the firm Crowell & Moring in Washington, D.C.
