The West Mathews Community League will hold its sixth annual Fall Festival from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday at the league building in Bohannon.

The league owns and maintains the historic former Peninsula School, located at 4905 East River Road.

The festival will include music by the Tide Winders and a special performance by Heather Hopkins from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Also planned are sales of clam chowder by the bowl or quart; a bake sale, yard sale, airbrush artist, a visit by Smokey Bear, and sales of T-shirts and fall plants.

Lunches of hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, coffee and chips will be sold. ...
