Eyeglass donation

The Abingdon Ruritan Club presented 41 pairs of prescription glasses and one hearing aid to the Gloucester Lions Club earlier this month. Founded in 1917, Lions Clubs International is best known for fighting blindness; Lions also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, and aiding seniors and the disabled.
