Mr. Ernest Edward Whiting Jr. of Gloucester, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Sr. and Ada Whiting, and brother, Michael Whiting Sr.

Ernest is survived by brothers, Donald and Elton Whiting of Gloucester, Wayne Whiting (Ramona) of Chesterfield, Va., and Daryl Whiting of Oakland, Calif.; sisters, Gloria Barkley (Charles) of Lanexa, Va., Joyce Wilson (Trey), Jean Randall of Gloucester, and Janice Whiting of Newport News, Va.

A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Church of Abraham, 4810 Hickory Fork Road, Gloucester, Va.
